DPF President Mike Farrell to be honored by the ACLU of Southern California


The ACLU of Southern California is so pleased to be presenting Mike Farrell with the Stanley K. Sheinbaum Award at the 47th Annual Garden Party on September 26th from 2-5pm, in Brentwood.

The award was created in 2004 to recognize champions of liberty, justice and equality for all.  Mike is receiving this prestigious award in recognition of his lifelong activism against the death penalty, for prison reform, human rights, peace, and refugee aid.

Tickets for the Garden Party are $40 and sponsor packages start at $100 (includes 2 tickets).  We hope you will join us on September 26th and pay tribute to Mike in the commemorative journal.

Ryan Murphy, creator of Glee and Nip/Tuck and director of Eat Pray Love, will receive the Social Responsibility in the Media Award and Assemblywoman Julia Brownley receives the Legislator of the Year Award at this festive event.
