Joe Baker's work focuses on helping nonprofits use the Internet effectively to mobilize people for social change.  Joe Baker joined Care2.com as Director of Advocacy in August 2006. Care2 is the Internet's largest social network devoted to the environment and progressive causes.  Previously, Joe was the Executive Director of N-TEN.  Before that, Joe was the Director of Internet Communications for Amnesty International USA. Previously, he served Amnesty as Grassroots Advocacy Director and Deputy Director of its Western Region.  Joe has been involved in work against the death penalty since the early 1980's.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Death Penalty Focus, and volunteers for Amnesty International as a member of its Committee on Mission, Research and Action.  Joe lives in Redwood City, CA.
